Hello Resley! Here are the penalties according to the degree of the offense:
For the first offense of drunk driving, the penalties are:

  • 24 Hours to 6 Months jail time
  • $300-$1,000 fine
  • Drivers License Suspension for six months
  • You may be required to install Ignition Interlock Device
  • You may need to complete Chemical Dependency Education Course or Treatment

For second offense, here are the possible penalties:

  • 7 Days to 6 Months jail time
  • $600-$1,000 fine
  • Drivers License Suspension for a year
  • You may be required to install Ignition Interlock Device Lease, Installation and Maintenance or Vehicle May be Seized and Subjected to Forfeiture
  • You will need to complete Chemical Dependency Education Course or Treatment

For third offense, the possible penalties are:

  • 30 Days to 1 Year jail time
  • $1,000-$5,000 fine
  • Drivers License Suspension for a year
  • You may be required to pay for Ignition Interlock Device Lease, Installation and Maintenance
  • Your vehicle may be seized and subjected to forfeiture
  • You might need to complete Chemical Dependency Education Course or Treatment
