For the first offense of drunk driving, the penalties are:
- 24 Hours to 6 Months jail time
- $300-$1,000 fine
- Drivers License Suspension for six months
- You may be required to install Ignition Interlock Device
- You may need to complete Chemical Dependency Education Course or Treatment
For second offense, here are the possible penalties:
- 7 Days to 6 Months jail time
- $600-$1,000 fine
- Drivers License Suspension for a year
- You may be required to install Ignition Interlock Device Lease, Installation and Maintenance or Vehicle May be Seized and Subjected to Forfeiture
- You will need to complete Chemical Dependency Education Course or Treatment
For third offense, the possible penalties are:
- 30 Days to 1 Year jail time
- $1,000-$5,000 fine
- Drivers License Suspension for a year
- You may be required to pay for Ignition Interlock Device Lease, Installation and Maintenance
- Your vehicle may be seized and subjected to forfeiture
- You might need to complete Chemical Dependency Education Course or Treatment
